EZ-Bar Reverse Curl

Biceps • Gym • Intermediate

Exercise Overview

The EZ-bar reverse curl is an isolation exercise that targets the biceps, brachialis, and forearm muscles using an overhand grip. This variation places greater emphasis on the brachialis and forearms, helping to build arm thickness and improve overall grip strength.

How To Do It

1. Setup

Stand upright holding an EZ-bar with an overhand (palms-down) grip, hands shoulder-width apart.

2. Starting Position

Keep your elbows close to your sides, chest up, core engaged, and arms fully extended without locking the elbows.

3. Execution

Curl the bar upward toward your shoulders by bending your elbows while keeping your upper arms stationary.

4. Return

Slowly lower the bar back to the starting position under control, maintaining tension throughout the movement.
