Exercise Overview
The abductor machine is an isolation exercise that targets the outer thigh muscles and glutes by pushing the legs outward against resistance. This movement helps improve hip stability, lower-body balance, and supports overall leg strength while being easy to control and beginner-friendly.
How To Do It
1. Setup
Sit on the abductor machine and place your feet on the footrests. Adjust the seat so your knees align comfortably with the pads.
2. Starting Position
Position your legs together against the pads, back firmly against the seat, and core engaged.
3. Execution
Push your legs outward against the resistance by squeezing your outer thighs and glutes. Keep the movement controlled and steady.
4. Return
Slowly bring your legs back toward the starting position under control, maintaining tension on the muscles.
