Exercise Overview
The adductor machine is an isolation exercise that targets the inner thigh muscles by bringing the legs together against resistance. The machine provides controlled movement and consistent tension, making it ideal for beginners and for strengthening hip stability and lower-body balance.
How To Do It
1. Setup
Sit on the adductor machine and place your feet on the footrests. Adjust the seat so your knees are bent comfortably and aligned with the machine pads.
2. Starting Position
Position your legs open against the pads with your back pressed firmly into the seat. Engage your core and keep your chest upright.
3. Execution
Press your legs inward by squeezing your inner thighs until the pads come together. Focus on controlled movement rather than speed.
4. Return
Slowly allow your legs to open back to the starting position under control, maintaining tension on the muscles.
